This does not sound like any case of Ringworm I have ever seen, and I saw a TON of it in the US Army.
Ringworm is not really a worm.
It is a fungus, so nick-named because it causes small rings to appear in the area that is infected (fungal, not bacteria or virus).
Because you are seeing so many different areas of your body affected, this sounds more like a systemic infection, rather than a localized outbreak.
The classic place for ringworm to appear is on the soles of the feet. For you, it sounds as if your infection has spread over most of your body, so whatever it is, it is being transmitted throughout one or more systems in the body.
The skin is known as the integumentary system (think integrity of the body's "shell"). Your signs indicate that at least this system is involved.
But the integumentary system lacks the ability to transfer fungal infections throughout the body. That would be done by the circulatory system (best guess).
Now, if you live in the Southwestern U.S. (or have recently visited Central or South America) then you "could" have Coccidioidomycosis or "San Joaquin Valley fever".
NOTE: THIS IS SPECULATION ON MY PART, AND YOU MUST SEE A DOCTOR "IN PERSON" TO CONFIRM OR ELIMINATE THIS AS YOUR DIAGNOSIS.
"Valley Fever" is inhaled, from fungal spores in the ground. They get stirred up into the air for various reasons, everything from seasonal tilling of the soil to earthquakes, and a lot of things inbetween, including dust storms.
So, your respiratory system (breathing, inhaling) takes the spores in and then distribute the infection into the circulatory system, where the infection is spread to all parts of the body.
THE GOOD NEWS is this:
(Quote from first link) "Coccidiodomycosis includes a variety of illnesses many of which do not require therapy. Ninety-five percent of acute episodes resolve spontaneously".
This means that you "might" get well on your own, but I know I would not make that bet on my life.
SEE A DOCTOR. If you have already seen one, then ask to have blood cultures done and to see a dermatologist.
For general relief of the discomfort of the symptoms, go to your local pharmacy and ask if they have "Oatmeal Bath". This is a great remedy for overall skin irritation.
Remember, I'm not a doctor, but I am a health care professional, even if I am retired. I hope you will call your doctor immediately.
I'm having a good thought for you,

Registered Nurse (retired)

Ringworm is a fungal infection. The best way to get rid of it is to use a spray that's meant for athlete's foot or "jock itch." It's always on our skin, no matter how clean we are, but you can help prevent it from becoming a problem by drying thoroughly, using body powder and antiperspirants, and by showering PROMPTLY any time you've sweated a lot. If those things don't work, then it's time to see your doctor.
Good luck - I've had it before (thanks to a poorly-laundered sleeping bag that I was unfortunate enough to borrow) and it itches madly!!!!

Hi Sexpert
Here are some ideas to rid of them.
Cause
Ringworm is most often due to poor hygiene and/or too tightly enclosed clothing that can cause excessive sweating in the affected area. To treat and prevent ringworm, bathe or shower at least once a day, and change socks and underwear every day. If you use showers in public areas, such as in the gym, wear shower sandals to avoid fungal contact with your feet and toes.
Ringworm can also be a secondary condition associated with candidiasis. If so, follow the same recommendations provided under Candidiasis.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Natural Cures
Aromatherapy: Topical applications of rosemary, tea tree, lavender, geranium, peppermint, thuja, and/or thyme can be helpful.
Diet: Avoid all sugars, alcohol, processed foods, and foods to which you are allergic or sensitive (screen for food allergies). Also avoid wheat and dairy products, and eat plenty of organic, fresh vegetables, as well as garlic and onions, both of which act as natural antibiotics. In addition, drink plenty of pure, filtered water throughout the day.
Herbs: To speed healing, apply a paste made of equal parts myrrh powder and goldenseal powder mixed with a little water.
Homeopathy: Useful remedies include Sepia, Arsen alb., and Graphites.
Nutritional Supplementation: The following nutrients are recommended: garlic capsules and probiotic substances such as Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacteria, vitamin A, vitamin B-complexB-complex, vitamin C with bioflavonoids, vitamin E, bee pollen, evening primrose oil, citrus seed extract (orally and applied topically), and colloidal silver (applied topically).
Topical Treatment: Tape or bandage a thin slice of garlic directly over the affected area for several days.
Alternative Professional Care
If your symptoms persist despite the above measures, seek the help of a qualified health professional. The following professional care therapies have all been shown to be useful for treating ringworm: Detoxification Therapy, Magnetic Field Therapy, Naturopathic Medicine, Oxygen Therapy (ozonated olive oil applied topically), and Traditional Chinese Medicine
Best of health to you

You need to go back to the doctor,I'm a nurse and my daughter was going through the same thing,a friend of hers stayed the night and took a bath three days later a big round one appeared on my daughter's forehead,I bought blue star ointment which worked for awhile and then I carried her to her pediatrician he said after awhile it because virul it gets into you bloodstream and sometimes extra measures haf to be taken to get rid of it,ringworms are very hard to get rid of.But in the meantime try blue star ointment, and some sort of anti-fungal cream.

All ringworm is, is a yeast infection or rash. maybe you could change your diet. Ask your doctor and tell him you are tired of this or better yet go ask a pharmacist they will know too.

first find out how you are getting contaminated. Do you have any pets or are you around a lot of children? When you go to your Doc, just get more aggressive and insist on answers before you leave.it is your body
