Has every Christian called every scientist "close minded"? You paint both groups with a broad brush. If you've heard some Christians say that, then you should no more believe this represents the view of all Christians any more than you should believe that terrorists speak for all muslims. The only scientists that could be called close minded are the ones who ignore the overwhelming scientific evidence for creation and stick to the hollow "particles-to-people" philosophy of Darwinian evolution. And where do the Christian scientists fit into all this? Would Christians call them close minded? A few notable Christian scientists: Leonardo da Vinci, Johannes Kepler, Galileo Galilei, Blaise Pascal, Robert Boyle, Sir Isaac Newton, Samuel Morse, Lord Kelvin, Louis Pasteur, George Washington Carver, Henry Morris, and so many today too numerous to mention.

SOME Christians call scientists closed minded for the same reason that SOME scientists call Christians closed minded -- those included in the term SOME are themselves closed minded. There are many Christians who are scientists!

probably for the same reasons some scientists call Christians closed-minded.
Do keep in mind that many scientists do follow a religion--many do.

Why do people always sterotype people. Dont assume that all Christians are like that. Alot of Christians are scientists and are very open about science and religion

If all you believe is what you can see and calculate, you're limiting yourself from having a relationship with the infinite. They don't mean that all scientists are close-minded, only the dogmatic that claim science to deny the infinite possibilities of God.

As a Christian I can honestly tell you your way off base. Christianity doesn't clash with science. That's a prime example of an erroneous pre-conceived notion. Your question exudes extreme bias. Science has done nothing but give credibility to Christian belief thus far.

As you're saying you probably did, I did my own learn, the two reading diverse religions & technology. technology explains all the actual info better than faith. Buddism explains the seen reincarnation (the Christians under no circumstances gave me a suitable clarification approximately why innocents, such by using fact the infants in Iraq could go through & die). Spirituality explains spirits, etc. i don't advise Satanism I agree there is an evil tension. i'm an agnostic There are too many stuff i won't be in a position to describe and could not faux to understand, yet I refuse to settle for (anymore) the thoughts written via adult males. I even have examine the Bible each and every of ways by using as quickly as & areas of it many instances. it quite is full of violence---rape, homicide, etc. it is likewise anti-woman. particularly of seeing women persons by using fact the gateway to new existence, the Bible portrays us as evil. i'm respecting your attitude. Please understand mine.

christians can accept scientific theory as well as have faith and believe in the bibles accounts ... they can weigh all variables and information to try to better understand things ... atheistic scientists block out every idea except their theory and so limit themselves to what is most likely an error ...
