Lately my skin has been really oily. I wash it twice a day and still it's very oily. What products are out there that I can use to control my out of control skin???

The more you wash it, the more oil it produces. There are MANY oil blotting creams on the market. I suggest you go to or get on line to Sephora. They carry a huge line of everything! There are tons of things to matte your skin. In the mean time, get oil blotting papers with OUT powder! Clearasil makes them and so do many other companies. They blot oil really good and leave NO residue! Again the more you wash it, the more oil you produce! Wash gently and with a very gentle cleanser!

May I suggest using a shampoo for oily hair too - start from the top. You need to wash your face twice a day - and do a good hydrating wash, toner [yes witch hazel] and a light day cream repeat at night and use a night cream. Twice a week use an exfoliant and once a week use a mask - Stop washing so much and let your face be "you" add acne cream as needed and drink water, rest, and take vitamins - if you use a regime over night your skin may change.

Try a clay mask. Clay absorbs excess oil. Don't forget to use a moisturizer after you wash your face (oil free) b/c overwashing can cause increased oil production. Those blotting papers are also pretty useful, and I use a translucent powder on my face that helps control oil shine. The upside to oily skin is that you will age much more slowly and look fantastic as you do because you will wrinkle slower :) Good luck!

First it needs to be cleanse good.
I use an Astringent after washing my face
with warm water and soap.
See if you have an Avon Representative in your area.
Many of them are trained in knowing what you can do,
and use. I like their products.
