Look, I'll help you out, come on over and I will shave it for you. We can start with a strip, and if you want to do it all, I can shave off the remaining hair...but its up to you. I always find with the ones left natural, that the hair gets caught in my throat. Your boyfriend will likely think the same.

You can easily shave it all off with the Seiko Cleancut Shaver. Just make sure you use an electric shaver. Razors do cause cuts, and they do remove some of the skin. That's because razors shave so close. Razors pull the hairs, and some of the hairs can become ingrown if they go back under the skin. Also, make sure you buy some Bikini Zone Cream or Tend Skin Lotion to prevent red bumps and irritation. It will not be like shaving your legs or underarms. That area is very sensitive. You will definitely need some kind of lotion or cream if you shave it all off for the first time.

I would shave it...and yes COMPLETELY because I think it's absolutely gross to have hair down there. And most guys prefer it shaved, but you know what it's not about what others want or think is better. It's really about what you feel you should do. My question for you is, do you think you should? Do you feel like shaving from then on out? Because otherwize it will get worse if you don't shave regularly. Do you want that responsibility?

Keeping it trimmed can be attractive, but shaving can cause lots of itchy bumps or ingrown hairs= unpleasant and unattractive. If you want to remove hair I would recommend plucking or waxing over shaving. Pulling the hair out at the root lasts longer than shaving and looks smoother.

i agree with rene' and hottie. just keep it trimmed short and shave the bikini line or make a landing strip. you could do the "cool" thing to do. or listen to the advice of any gynocologist and not shave it. i used to shave down there and my obgyn told me that when you shave the hair off you're also shaving some skin off and leaving raw flesh (you cant see it but its true) and it can easily become infect or cause ingrown hairs. and also it itches like crazy when it grows back.

Why don't you just shave a little at first (bikini zone) and get used to it. I'd recommend waxing, its less maintenance and doesn't itch as bad when it grows back. Later, if you like it, you can shave everything and see if you like that better or less.

Absolutely! There's nothing like the feel and look of it when it's shaved. You'll love it. Use whatever method you want; just do it! Maybe sometime later you'll want it lasered for permanent removal.

Biologically, body hair is there for a reason. Not only does it protect against friction when you're bumping uglies, as well as signal that the person whose ugly you're about to bump is sexually mature, but the fact that it's located in the most odoriferous parts of the body is no coincidence. Your body hair provides ample surface area for bacteria to break down the fatty material secreted by the apocrine glands in your crotch and armpits, thus producing the delightful scent we know as BO. "In the old days, you could really smell your mate, and smell is the animal sense that inspires you. It got you hot," as Norman Mailer said in praise of pheromones in a Nerve interview earlier this year. "The kinkiness now. . . it's all in search of a lost smell."
