If you have never met a guy but have seen him, like at the gym, how can you tell if it's a good idea to approach him or talk to him? What's the best way to tell if a guy is single? What are some body language clues?

A few body language clues would be eye contact, do you ever catch him looking at you? Smiling does he smile at you thats a definite sign. Most of all communication does he ever talk to you, even its about nothing important that is a good clue.

Eye contact would be a first sign that he is interested. The other is simply talk to him. He a human with issues like everyone else not perfect and would be flattered and happy to make conversation im sure if not well you found out what hes about and fish on.

First of all, I would have something genuine in mind to talk about. I wouldn't approach without a clear intent. I wouldn't first try to find out all the details about him beforehand ... I'd let him clue me in. It IS ok to get to know people, develop relationships and like them even if they aren't necessarily dating prospects. :-)

It's never a good idea to appraoch a guy. He might not respect you in the first place thinking that you're a flirt.
