I noticed I slouch a lot. Any help with fixing it? I've checked other Yahoo questions, the answers don't help much. Maybe someone else can help? Thanks!

Good for you, that you have picked up on your need to improve your posture. Problems stemming from poor posture cause me the majority of my grief in my practice (physical therapy).

Go to APTA.org, click on "find a PT", and search your home area. You may find someone who will give you a quickie free consultation and answer your questions.

Good luck!

You simply have to be cognizant of your posture and correct it. Repetition is the key. If that doesn't help, think about this: think of all the elderly ladies that you see that have a serious curvature of the spine. If you picture that whenever you start to slouch, I'm sure you will straighten up.

By making proper posture a habit. That's the one and only solution.

Weight training. Strengthening your back muscles will improve your posture.
