It depends on who he fights and just as importantly the order in which he fights them cause he's been gone for a while....11 years because of a botched test.....I'd be really mad......his grandfather John Wayne is turning in his grave. But I never thought he was great or bad....but I thought he was a slightly above average fighter not quite good enough for the title but good enough as someone to take seriously. He's got a lot of time to make up for if he wants to do something.

O.k. Tommy Morrison. Grandson of Marion Micheal Morrison A.K.A The Duke, (John Wayne)
I'm All shot out on Tommy. I had really high hopes for him. I liked him then (10 years ago). But he didn't fight anyone. George Foreman was almost 50 and Totally washed up when they fought for the WBC title and he (Morrison) gets by with a decision??? Don't know. The dude could fight though. I'm just wondering how in the hell a person doesn't get a second opinion when diagnosed with HIV?? Also, how in the world did it take this long to figure out it was misdiagnosed? Did he not see a Doctor after the initial diagnosis? I don't buy that at all. That is total horsesh**. What He wasn't getting treatments for HIV? no other tests were performed in 10 F-ING years. Come on, cut the games. He is fighting a soup can though. He has only lost 3 fights in his career and all 3 were top level guys that he lost to. When he stepped up he got took out. The heavywieght division is watered down right now and he looks to be in great shape. anyone can win the title. If he lands that left hook on anyone out there it will be lights out. He's set up to fight 8 times this year. Top Rank signed him so we will get to see. I'd like to see him do well. These first 5 fights are gonna be walkover nobody's so wait to jump on the Bandwagon until he fights a real guy. Thats What I think..

First lets get this straight Tommy Morrison is not John Wayne's grandson. Now about the AIDS test they have drugs now that can mask a positive finding ask Magic Johnson if you test him now he will have no trace of the AIDS virus in his system. On his boxing he got a bad decision over George Forman the powers that be were trying to get Big George out of boxing I like Tommy Gunn he has a big heart but he cant take a punch check with Ray Mercer

Never thought I'd say this but I am actually rooting for Tommy M at this point in the heavyweight division he would bring excitement and much needed interest back into it. If he can find a way to hide that chin he may actually slip right back into the slot he was in before, not quite at the top but nowhere near the bottom. Would a Tommy M. vs James Toney fight be a decent test?

Listen, Tommy Morrison is a very accomplished boxer cut off in his prime by a tragic virus that would put anyone in a tailspin. Yes it's been ten years but let's not forget that this guy kicked George Formans *** by decision, come on! Only three people on earth can say they've done that and he is one of them. As for his physical condition he's always been a bull. I have a great deal of respect for Tommy despite his troubles after retirement. He is one of the most focused and dedicated boxers the sport has ever had. He got a crappy deal and I'm sure he is a force to be reckoned with. God bless Tommy

Tommy Morrison still has nightmares about Ray Mercer. He's back for a few quick bucks, and will retire after his first significant beating. Even in a weakened heavyweight division, he's no real threat to be anything but a fringe contender with a name.

i see ripped boxers get knocked out all the time ..look at ken norton! morrison is white that's all that matters to america besides money but white and green goes hand-n-hand. morrison will get un-heard -of- matches and if he doesn't lose his next two fights he will be in line for a title shot..politricks!
