I love it on brown bread with cheese and corned beef!!! :-P

When my siblings and I were kids, my Ma used to make us a Marmite broth with little pasta numbers whenever we were sick - Just a little Marmite in boiled hot water and then she'd throw in as many of the little pasta numbers as she could... In Maltese we called it 'Soppa tan-Numri' (soup of numbers) What a great memory... :-)

I used it like a spread over a piece of bread or make a soup by putting a dessertspoonful into hot water.

Try it; it's delicious and nutritious. Marmite is an Australian house name and any typical Australian will tell you they would have grown up with Marmite, having it for breakfast every morning as a kid.

If you like this, try also Vegemite (vegetable) and Bovril (beef).
