can one exist if catholics and orthodox agree for the good of christianity and since theyre both alike just that one has the pope as a leader and one doesnt

Yes. It´s coming, and the Church will be called... Catholic Chrurch, as it was before the schism, and the Pope will be the leader

I think that will happen when the Ecumenical Patriarch agrees that the Pope is infallible. Meanwhile, the 3 ancient patriarchates and the other 14 autocephalous churches will disagree with the Patriarch's decision to reunify with the Pope. If you ask me, the Ecumenical Patriarch is about to sell out.

We are not exactly alike; although, our doctrines are very similar. I would say these doctrines are nearly Catholic so it is really about time for us to talk of reconciliation.
