Would you go on a blind date with someone who seems to refuse to organise anything via the telephone and prefers to organise it via email?

Honestly I would not reccomend it. It sounds like this guy doesnt want you to know very much about the way he talks, or the police are tracing his calls or something. I think the idea is a bad one. It is too risky, and even though they may be cute, the risks are very high by the way this situation sounds. I say move on, and find a person who sounds more sane.

Maybe you should consider making it a double date to be a little more safe on you. Just explain that since it's the first date, you'd feel more comfortable having some friends there with you. Or just don't tell him your friends are there and have them sit at a different table really close to guys like in a restauraunt or one row behind you at the movies! A public place would be best to keep safe. Good luck! My cousin went on a blind date last year under the same circumstances and he raped her outside in the restauraunt parking lot. So just be careful hun. I'm not trying to scare you away from blind dates, they can be exciting, just think about having some friends along or nearbye.

Yes, I would. Anymore email is so second nature. It is not my preference, mind you. I would rather be called on the phone but I have to also ask..... is it really that much of a deal breaker? Nah, I don't think so. If thats how he chooses to connect with you then so be it. If you just cannot live with this behavior then perhaps you need to move on.

seems like a computer nerd. being interested in comps isnt bad but if it becomes their life then become worried. maybe they really like you and want a memory of organising thing... that may be the case. i would go and see what happens. whats the worst that can happen? go to a public place and ask your friends to hang around NEAR but not TOO NEAR incase you get upset.maybe they will. maybe they won't. but make sure you can get home if he/she turns out to be a real jerk... or go somewhere within walking distance of your house.

No i would never go on a blind date because you dont know what the guy is like. He could be very dangerous and you dont know what he is capable of doing

perhaps his mind is more analytical-yeah-----go out with him---------may very well turn out to be fun------but he is on 'caution' until you can draw out his personality.
