I'm 37 yrs old, until 4 months ago I have always been in good health. Suddenly I'm hit with problem after problem. I start experiencing chest pains with dizzy spells. Doctor says hypertension and I get put on BP pills. Two months go by and all seems well. Then the dizzy spells and chest pains are back along with extreem weakness. I find myself laying down almost every day for hours until it passes. Another doctor apointment, this time my BP is good, blood work is ordered and meds are left as is. Waiting for results and my vision starts acting up. I repeatedly get spells where my right eye goes blury. Each spell worse than the one before and sight is less with each recovery. To the eye doc I go and I'm told I'm far sighted. The blur spells is age catching up. Today my knee felt stiff and in minutes swells up, I never hit it. It just seems to me multiple sudden issues at this age would be more likly one cause. I know there's no doc here but some may have experienced something like this.

do you also have canker sores in your mouth or skin lesions..has your eyesight been degrading???

I once saw a program where a lady started having problems with eyesight, then canker sores and skin lesions and arthritis..she was going to doctors for many, many years... and finally they figured out that she had a disease called Behcet's disease...

Lastly, speaking from experience, being sick is no fun..

I wish you all the best with your health

Sounds like you are describing me;except I had to have a pacemaker put in at 30. Everything seemed to be going well until I hit 40 and it's been down hill ever since. And it's my left eye, both ears, both hips, my back and knees. And to top it all off the DAMN Doctor is giving me meds. that cause E.D.

your in an age bracket where hcv is high. ask the doctor to test you for antibodies as with a liver panel, not always are the alt and ast levels elevated.

hcv is a liver disease that takes a long time to cause major issues-at least ones that are noticable. it causes other organs and tissues to malfuntion.

everyone has at least one risk factor for hcv, so get tested and good luck!

(print this out and take it with you to your next appointment!)

That is a lot of things happening at one time. I would keep going into the doctor until someone finds out what is wrong with you!
