It depends on person to person. The larger you are, the more water you should be consuming. It also depends on the amount of exercise you do, the weather etc. But personally I would recommend you just have a bottle of water you everything and just drip it often and refill it several times a day. I would recommend about 1.5 litres minimum.

Normal day: one full glass first thing in the morning to cleanse the digestive system that has to be clogged up overnight, one full glass each time you've had a meal, so that's three extra glasses, one glass in the mid afternoon, and one extra glass after your evening meal, and additions throughout the day that amount to the medical profession's recommendation of 8 glasses of water per day.
Normal day with excercise: I drink as much as I need to during excercise, ie jogging or rowing and some afterwards due to dehydration, hence its more than 8 glasses on days like these. I wouldn't overdo the water to a ridiculous level ie one that leads to water poisoning, but just 8 glasses a day or what your doctor says is right.

They say eight eight oz glasses a day if normal weight and 8 oz extra for every ten pounds overweight.
So people will say you can overdrink and it lowers your potassium level but thats not totally true if your getting enough potassium from what your eating.
Water pushes out water so you can actually lose water weight by drinking more water.
Hope it helps

At least 8 or 10 - 8 oz. glasses of water or 4 - 16 oz. bottles of water per day. I've also heard that based on your weight, 8 oz. for every 5 lbs. of your weight. Just please don't overdue-I knew a gal once who drank 8- 32 oz. glasses of water per day-caused her to have realy low potassium, and was told by the dr. nothing weaker than tea to drink for a time.

64 ounces or 2 litres. But if you exercise, your intake should be considerably more.
