Originally, Catholic until around age 13. I attended a non denominational Christian Church, then stopped attending Church around age 18. For a few years recently, I considered myself a Gnostic Christian, which had a profound effect on me religiously. I still find the beliefs of the Gnostics fascinating and they still shape my beliefs today. Today, I consider myself a Deist. I expect my beliefs will change and grow as I change and grow. I think that is what spirituality is really about, growth. I truly believe that mainstream Christianity hinders that growth.

lets just say that I was brought up in home where God was never talked about by either of my parents. We had to close the curtains and hide when Jehovah Witnesses came to the door or the preacher from the town church. I went out seeking God for myself. At 15, I went to a baptist church with a neighbor and was baptized. Then I when to a Catholic church a few times with a friend. Over 25 years,I tried a Methodist, a nondenominational and then back to a baptist church. I have seen division and upset and WAR! I have finally decided that the Lord of water, earth and sky loves ALL. There should be NO division in the world.

Evangelical Lutheran. A religion for the guilt free believers.
Lost "faith" if you could call it that around 7 or 8 when my mother and I watched a documentary comparing the lives of the Christ and the Buddha. It was freaking on! That's when I began my journey that never ends.

I was raised Southern Baptist. I went to a Catholic school for a year, but never believed that way. Later on, I was in a non-denominational denomination. My last church was charismatic/evangelical.
This began when I was 6, and ended last year when I was 26.

I started off as Mormon, with a little bit of Catholicism sprinkled in (from the other side of my family.) I moved on to Baptist, then Church of Christ, then Methodist. Finally, I decided I didn't like going to church at all. It is VERY boring. I spent some time questioning one of Jewish friend's and one of my Jaine friend's beliefs, but it never went farther than questions.

I was a methodist till around 11, but I also, on a regular basis, with friends and family, attended Catholic, Mormon, Evangelical, and nondenominational churches.

Catholic. Straight Catholic. I was baptized with 2 other girls with the same name... my mother loves telling that story.
I fought my way out of indoctrination somewhere between 16 & 17.

I was brought up "absent Lutheran" although my dad calls himself a "retired Catholic". I have embraced my own set of beliefs. The closest I've found, although not right on, is Wicca. I embrace more than one idea.
