They may just be doing as much as they can to help your muscles relax.
Pain can be referred from places other than the head. This deals with headaches but the principle works for all kinds of pain.
Muscles get knots called trigger points. These make the muscles tight causing them to press on nerves and other thing.
#1 The first thing is to take a couple swigs of molasses or eat a couple of bananas. They contain magnisium and potassium both of which muscles need.
#2 WATER she should be drinking 1/2 gallon minimum. The head of neurology at UCDavis likens a body running low on water to a car running low on oil (the engine can seize).
Get a good (deep tissue) massage (to loosen the trigger points) on the back, shoulders and neck. Make sure to press up at the base of the skull where it meets the spine.
You rub or lightly scratch everywhere on your head. You will hit spots that are tender these are trigger points. The idea is to rub across them 6-12 times per session up to six times per day until they go away.
For more information on trigger points read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.

The feeling is wounderful from these pain pills, as I also enjoy the feeling from these,,the itchy feeling will go away after awhile,,I think it's the codine in these pills as I'm sure there is a small amount, in all pain pills,,but beware my friend these are very addicting as I'am having problems now with the addiction of these,,the feeling is too good and that is what will get you into trouble,,so becarefull cuz the withdrawls are awful, trust me I'm there and having a problem getting off these miracle wonders,,life is so much better when you pop a few perks, ayy I'm sure you know what I mean,,enjoy but not to much,,my friend

This is a normal side effect from codeine, morphine, and the pills you mentioned are derivatives of those.

You need to talk with your doctor about this one. It's a possible side effect that affects you but not everyone.
But you're talking about "the good feeling the[y] give you". That says that you're not using this legitimately. Thanks for being so selfish.
There are legitimate uses for these meds. But every time that you decide it's important to get high, you are hurting those of US who have the legitimate medical need for these drugs.
It's time to grow up.
