i have read the TOS and i find the Lega definition of offending Anyone is impossible for everyone to Follow. I think signing a waver from Suing Yahoo would fit more comfortably when someone insults a person or offends another. But censore the bible and the koran and the "words that might offend" religious people is just the wrong thing to do. What do people think about signing wavers against suing yahoo. for religious offense?

should anyone get a violation for proving evil exists, even though it is a persons religious belief, especially in a religious Section?
i get a lot of hate answers but i just turn the other cheek knowing and believing people didnt understand the innocence of asking my questions. No hidden agenda, No hate, but always accused of hate. ? this just isnt Farir or Just or not righteous.

It's not yahoo, if you get reported (I think it's by more than one person) you get your question removed.

Honestly, I don't mean for this to hurt you, but it absolutely creeps me out when people start randomly capitalizing words in the middle of a sentence. I think of Zodiac and other serial killers and get paranoid about if what you're trying to say is really what you mean to say. The spelling is off-putting as well - "Lega"? TOSLAFSY is really all I'm seeing and I'm wondering if it is a cryptic for the next person you are going to... do something bad to. It sounds Russian, like Petrovsky, and that is ominous for me as well, a poor Ukranian of Jewish heritage.

Except for looking at your profile, I had absolutely no idea what your question actually was. Who here on Answers could legitimately sue Yahoo? The stipulations and clauses in their privacy agreement protect them to the fullest extent of the law. And it is mainly the religious that censor their own texts. Like "spare the rod, spoil the child", which was never in the Bible (and was actually first utilized in a satire on Puritanism), but is used with abandon by Bible-thumpers across the globe.

I wish you well and hope you have a lovely morning. I agree with you on the whole; I'm just not sure what the whole is exactly, as your question is convoluted. And Angelz just made the most contradictory statement in the world, yet again proving her ignorance. =)

I agree 100%

incidentally, can I please ask EVERYONE to complain about Violations when they are not warranted.?
A lot of people have been deleted recently after working very hard to get up to a level where they can ask and answer unlimited.

If you get violated for something that is NOT even close to being offensive, please report it with the email header "harassment by another user" and state that you do not deserve this violation. Say that it is harassment and you want the matter investigated and the REPORTERS account suspended.

I will be reporting EVERY one from now on

Lets stop the mindless yobs destroying our work

Just one point though. If you deserve the Violation - take it on the chin !

What are the things you never want to discuss with friends and family? -Politics and religion. No matter what is said, in these categories, someone will be offended. I am offended by language used on other subjects and some answers are way out of line, but where does it end. Might as well shut Answers down.

Why restrict any opinion, expressed any way we want. Only perverse statements and use of obnoxious language or sites/pictures should be censored.

No. That should not be considered a guideline violation. But it typically will constitute a common sense violation, because the usual purpose of such a quote is to try to establish the validity of something in the bible, which is of course circular reasoning. This said, it should suprise no one if it IS considered a guideline violation: on evidence, Yahoo picks its guideline referees from the lowest IQ's it can find in a sheltered workshop -- it is barely credible that any human being could stoop to that level of stupidity.

It would be a clear violation of the First Amendment. What if I were bragging about the Browns (not that there's anything to brag about this season, but just for the sake of argument...) and a Steelers fan got offended?

Religion isn't confusing or controversial, it's corrupt. You don't need a Rabbi, or a Shek or a Preist to worship God. Since when does God need a middle man, get real. As for the legal system, it isn't even a system, it's a political area that requires loads of $$$ in order to purchas justice. Justice comes in any number of prices, but you'd better have $$$ up front or your going away for a long time. Ain't Freedom grand.

The violation reporting process is basically automatic. If you report someone, their posting will probably be removed regardless of content.

Unfortunately, some participants on this site have chosen to viciously attack your beliefs because they have no intelligent argument against them.

No, they shouldn't - but beware Yahoo only act on a 'violation' complaint, made by 'others' on this site - those who complain are usually petty, intolerant, stupid, ignorant, moronic and are not willing to broaden their tiny minds.

Yes, because you're not actually answering the question, you're just preaching.
