I would rather be alone than with someone who didnt appreciate me.
I also think that to be fully happy, you first have to be happy by yourself before you introduce a 2nd party

ABSOLUTELY! The three dumbest things I've ever done in my life were relationships. Divorce court was a happy day for me. I prefer to live by myself, I don't date, I'm celebate, and I have no intention of changing that.
So yes, I do believe that I am much better off alone. There is a difference in being alone and being lonely. Nobody wants to be lonely, but some of us were meant to be single.

I used to, but that was before I met the husband I have now. We've been married for a little over 5 yrs. and I love him more every day. As a matter of fact, he's the only man I've ever been able to envision a future with. I've found out that if you ever feel that way about someone you're with, then it probably isn't going to last.

Happy to say: Single for life and loving it! Not for the faint at heart and the needy. You must know yourself thoroughly otherwise you could be writing a RX for diaster. I am a abstainer due to my Christian stance which is pleasing
God not men. If you can't handle it get married but know yourself don't follow the crowd. To never marry does not mean you are Gay! I am very much heterosexual.

Sometimes I think so because atleast you dont have to deal with the hassle of getting hurt. But there are times when you need someone to care for you because no man is an island! I think people have to learn to be emotionally independent because if youre not happy with yourself then others cant really change it.

sometimes, but then i end up dying to be with that one person.
In the beginning, It feels like a relief to be single. It's like your free, ya know? and then it goes on for TOO long and you think... what's going on?.. I don't want to be SINGLE forever.. but...

Sometimes it is good to be alone, to have time to think. But I am living with this wonderful woman and it is so nice to come home to her instead of a lonely and empty house!!

That is a big YES. I would rather have no friends than bad friends. I like myself and do very well by myself. One has to sieve through a few bad people and find quality people to have for friends.

Hell yes!! I have been single for two years now and I love it. I barely even go and and hook up with guys but it is just fun to be by myself- don't get me wrong I cant wait to marry and have children, but all in good time.

its a thought for about an hour but. once you get back into reality you'll know you need people in your life.
i've had thoughts like those but you know its normal. its just like having time alone and stuff. once you get back at things you'll be fine.
