This is to anyone who lives in the Va, Md area.....why don't they sell Rice Krispies Treats Cereal anymore in supermarkets around here. I've heard they still sell them in other parts of the country, but not here. I lived northern va, and now in md and still no RKTC, what gives? It was so good why would they stop selling them if it was good.??? HELP and if im wrong, anyone who lives in the area know or seen this cereal in a supermarket, tell me where.

I have no idea because have been always able to find it. It might be that they are changing the packaging....
I saw this happen with Wheat Cheks which I like very much....just looked and looked and could not find it...now all of a sudden its back in the stores in a much smaller box....so maybe that is what is occuring...so far haven't had a problem.
You can probably find an alternative at a dollar store...isn't the usual brand, but fairly similar.

No they still sell it in the U.S. or at least in CT where I am... I just saw it two days ago at a market called Stop and Shop... And yes it was made out of the rice krispie treats

A friend of mine is a manager at a local grocery chain, he said that ur area might be what they call a PILOT store that only sells certain things for a period of time to see how well they sell, if they don't sell enough in that area, they pull them and make room for other products. live in an area that 3 out of the 4 different chains of grocery stores are PILOT stores, and what one store stopped selling, the other chain is, so we have to (if we want it bad enough) shop one for for this and another store for that. Pain in the BUTT , but well worth it if u really want that product. Call ur local supermarket and ask them if they are a PILOT store for ur area, if so, then U will find ur answer. .......Good Luck on ur search ...

We still have them here in the Northwest, for the right price I'll ship you some. P.S. I did a search on this question and people have been asking that for a year on this web-site, so they must not be selling them everywhere any longer.

Call up your local grocery store & ask to speak to the manager in charge of stock supplies. They will let you know if they are still available for them & if so ask them to please stock up. Also you can go to the web sites for any products & inquire if they can ship them to your home & dont forget to tell them you love their products & ask if they will send you some coupons! Good luck!
