If you have it at home now, try 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water. You want to eat because your body is craving vitamins and minerals. ACV has 93 vitamins and minerals.. ACV is wonderful for curbing the appetite. You will not want to eat so much. I eat just a little bit of food and I am full. I still eat sweets and breads, but not as much as I used to. For the sweet cravings I either eat something like a sugar free hard candy or soda. For the chocolate cravings that I simply can not overcome I will eat a small piece of chocolate like a hershey's kiss. But don't forget to add it into your carb count for the day.
I haven't found a starch subsitute for the bread and potato craving. There are low carb products on the market but I don't really care for them.
The best advise is just to hang in there. The first couple of weeks are the worst. Once you get past the first couple of weeks the cravings will go away. Good Luck

After the first 2-3 days, the cravings should go away. You should be able to eat absolutely everything else! That's the best part about removing carbs from your diet. When I did it a few years ago, I ate tons of veggies and Boar's Head meats. I also ate lots of fruit. Whenever I was hungry, I ate absolutely EVERYTHING except bread, rice, pasta and/or potatoes. Nothing else was off limits.
So if you're hungry, eat up! Your body will love and thank you for it. Good luck!

To smash the addition to carbs, or the desire for carbs, stay full with a non carb, water, proteins, whatever is on the diet. You said it ...craving. It might be a very good Idea to talk with OA.

sorry but i think the low card diet is a stupid idea for your situation. i am not too fond of the diet. you get 70+% of your daily calories from carbohydates. If you cut out carbs you are left with proteins and fats as your choices for calorie intake. i doubt u will be surviving off milk/meat all day. so of course you will get hungry.
carbs are easier to burn than fats, which means they wont be stored in your body as easily (good thing). why not switch to a low fat diet instead??
if you ignore them and goto sleep like these other people suggest repeatedly or let your body adapt to being malnurished, there is a high chance you will develop stomach ulcers. i suggest getting off this diet, and talking to a nutritionist/dietician to plan out a better diet plan for you thats healthier for you.

Diets do not work. 99% of people gain the weight back. No one teaches the animal what to eat and what not to eat. He knows instinctively what to eat. Humans also have the same instinct. The way it works is just eat whatever tastes good and that will be healthy for you and non-fattening. That is why a baby tastes everything. So again whatever tastes good, is good for you. This is why you will spit out spoiled milk.
But wait!!! Man has the technology to create rat poison. It tastes like healthy food (good taste) but kills the rat. So man has done that to you. Note-- any food unaltered by man (uncooked) that tastes good, is good for you. So if you are stranded in the woods, that is how you know what to eat (cooking changes that). So man has created fake fruit. It tastes like fruit that exists in nature but it is terrrible for health, addictive and fattening called sweets.
So it is natural to like real sweets called fruit, like a baby does, but they have fooled you just like the rat. But they do not want to kill you. They want you to become obese so you will buy lots of their foods. This is called GOOD BUSINESS. Learn how to nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat.
