Now i have been a christian for a few of years and have just recently converted to the muslim faith and i now look at the midle east in a very difrent way. But while reading the bible during my time as a christian and found it very intresting that when God chosen people went into the land of milk and honey they were told to kill everything to not even keep there welth for themselves so they would go into the land and kill every man woman and child that lived in the land they killed there livestocks burned there buldings until the great land that was once there was reduced to piles of ashes and dead bodies now the muslim jihadist are doing the exact same thing in the name of God but now that they are doing this it is wrong and un-Godly my question is why is it ok when you do it when murder millions of people because God told you to its ok but when someone else does it o no that terible they shouldent be doing that i dont get it whats the difference and i want to ad i dont suport jihad

First of all, as Creator, God has every right to order any of His creations destroyed. Van Gogue had every right to destroy as many of his works as he wished. But if you were to do so without his authorization, you would go to prison, and rightly so.

Jihadis are twisting even what is said in the Quran. 'Jihad' is SUPPOSED to be an internal war against the sin in one's OWN LIFE. What sense does it make to kill people without direct orders from God, seeing as how no human can know what other people will one day decide. Kill an infidel, and he'll NEVER convert! God knows who will and who will not turn to Him. Jihadis don't.

Any one who confesses to be a christian and has read the bible will know for a fact that islam is satanic. The reason why you embraced satanism is because you were born a devil.

We have a new covenant in Christ


Ash Wednesday liturgies are some of the best attended in the entire year. Ashes are an ancient symbol of repentance (sackcloth and ashes). They also remind us of our mortality ("remember that you are dust") and thus of the day when we will stand before God and be judged. This can be linked easily to the death and resurrection motif of Baptism. To prepare well for the day we die, we must die now to sin and rise to new life in Christ. Being marked with ashes at the beginning of Lent indicates our recognition of the need for deeper conversion of our lives during this season of renewal.

Because God is FAIR AND JUST....he ALWAYS has a reason for everything. God didn't tell the Israelites to kill the people because he Hated them or just felt like it. God didn't HATE them, he despised their SIN. Muslim Jihadist are SAYING they're doing it all in the name of God, but what God? Muslims have different beliefs than Christians...

I think that every one must do what they believe in their heart is the right thing to do. So I find no fault there. However, one can be doing what one thinks is right, and be wrong because what they are doing is inconsistent with the nature of reality. I think that Joshua was in the right, because the nature of reality is such that God really did tell him to do what he did. I think that Islam is inconsistent with the true nature of reality. We will disagree on this, but I think that we would both agree that "reality" is what matters. Its part of the human condition that others will have a different view of reality, and we must all go with what we think is right, and keep an open mind so that if we are in the wrong, we can see the error of our ways.

Well, I don't murder millions of people, and God never told me to go kill everyone and everything. He told me to love my neighbor (although it's very hard to love a jihadist), and to welcome strangers.
