I did not pick up my cell phone. I saw it ringing, look at who it was.
The lie was "I am not around to take your call"
Is that a lie? I think in a way it is........

The house. With some grape CapriSun and a good movie.
I'm a layabout far too much of the time. Soon I will be lying about in the street with a ripped t-shirt and a pair of faded jeans, singing folk songs for dimes and quarters. Ah, but life goes on.

I lied by omission to my mother--she assumed I worked today and I didn't correct her because I didn't want her to worry. I freelance, so not working means I didn't get any jobs yesterday--not very good news :-(

A client on the phone asked me if I remembered him and I said, "sure I do!" I wasn't sure of anything at that point.

I told Bob "Nice to see you" when I really would have rather avoided him at a meeting yesterday, if that counts.
