Well, not being a doctor,in good conscience I don't feel I can say "hey you have a migraine or hey you have some other kind of headache." The reason being, that I think it's important to have a real MD be consulted when it comes to headaches. What I will tell you is I have pretty awful headaches that sometimes wake me from a sound sleep and the pain is usually on one side and it is pretty sharp and it makes me feel exhausted and nauseous and light or sound make it worse. Mine are migraines. I have had them since I was 16 and I've had them last as short as a couple of hours and as long as ten days. Fortunately I have a medication now called Zomig which as long as I take before the headache gets too bad or when I'm in something my Docs call "the aura" phase, which is basically an early warning of a bad headache. I sometimes see little black spots just on the edge of my periferal vision and that's how I know when I'm close to a migraine and can "pre-medicate". It's kind of handy to have that. The best advice I can give you is get to your Doctor for some relief. Good luck and God bless.

Sleeping late nights will give u headaches. or Did a noise wake you very early on in the morning, did you have to endure some noise as you slept? These give me a headache on sundays and everyone's home and making a din while i'm asleep. I've also heard somewhere that having protein (scrambled eggs) in the mornings will solve the problem, but i'm not too sure on that.

Well I would say that you slept wrong and may have a pinched nerve in your neck. When I get those symptoms I go to my Chiropractor and he does my neck and with in about 2-4 hours my head ache dissipates and my dizziness disappears. Just feel the back of your neck and see if you feel any bumps or bulges and you can tell. You could also try using a heating pad with a moist towel on it and lay on that for about 2-4 hours. And you will feel some relief.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

Oh dear.

Try tea with honey and lemon in it, and a dash of ginger. And get someone to give you a good head massage, and use a hot pack on your head. And drink an extra glass of water.

Good luck!
