I think if you went on a crash diet on exercised like crazy, it might be possible. However, losing it slowly and surely, and keeping it off, is a healthier way.
I lost 15 pounds in 6 weeks by simply doing cross country at school and cutting back on my food.

No. In reality, to safely and properly lose weight, figure losing on average 1-2, maybe 3 lbs per week. And, when your body hits a plateau, it doesn't go down for a short time. Your body needs time to readjust itself. A woman should not take in less than 1,200 calories per day/a man not less than 1,500 calories per day. Anything lower than that, is a starvaiton diet, that doesn't work. It can for a short time, not do your body any real lasting good, and the chance of gaining the weight back is higher when you try to starve it off. Drinking at least 8 - 8 oz glasses of water per day, exercise, and eating three balanced meals per day is the way to go. And, an occasional snack-(small). Take care.
