I have taken xanx for a long time and have in the past become hooked on it, I noticed it has helped me so much, but stopped taking it for some time, but recently went back to it, just when I really needed it. What are some of your side affects or reactions to it, and how has it helped you?
I noticed depending on the type of stress or situation you are in, in your life, it changes it in both good and bad ways?
how has it effected you??

i also noticed after going back on it, I am really relaxed, at times too much, where I studder when i talk, which takes the ease off of the problem, but then i become hyper or rambly afterward where i am happy then a while later get angry. Is this cause this med is not for me anymore? and is there something different I can b on where it wont change my personality and make me feel even more anxious when i dont take it??

I think Xanax is a useful medication, but ONLY as needed. There should be no circumstances under which a person should take it every day because it's too dangerous that way.

It's a strange drug. You can take it every day and get addicted in like a week, but you can use it twice a week for your entire life and not ever get addicted. I think it's one of the most dangerous drugs out there because it's highly addictive, the withdrawal kills you, and doctors love prescribing it.

At the same time, I can't say I hate the stuff because I take it myself to sleep at night. I guess it depends on the individual person and how often they use it.

I've been taking xanax xr for almost 2 weeks and so far it seems okay. I don't get a real "calm" feeling or anything. I just don't feel so upset all the time. It doesn't really last all day long like they say so I've been taking it twice a day. So far I haven't had any bad side effects from it either, and I'm really sensitive to medications.

after a couple months of taking them you not only get addicted to them but they slowly become less effective. you will need more and more. Using these drugs will make you looney. try and get off of them and get therapy...Therapy really helps...It has for me!

my thoughts on it is this
it is a drug that takes you away from reality, when you stop taking it BOOM, reality slaps you in the face and it really never solved anything to begin with.
plus they alway knocked me out when i took them, which caused problems, i am not one who has time to sleep for hours and hours!!

i was taking these for a short period of time when i my g/f was killed in a car accident.
