It is very hard to grow up without a mom or dad, and I assume it has been a long time because you must be at least 14 I assume. You need to talk to your mom about your feelings-- what you are experiencing is too extreme for the amount of time that has passed which means you have not had the guidance you need to help you come to grips with the loss-- your mom should seek counseling for you- be it your priest/pastor or psychologist. This has impacted you severely, as it should, but your statement that you cant go a minute without thinking of him is not healthy for you and you need help--- please tell your mom and if she is not in the picture, whoever you live with and if that is no one, then please call mental health counseling in your city--- they have free clinics- you need to see someone soon......good luck to you...you will get better with therapy and the correct understanding of how to cope with your loss...........God bless you..........

I'm very sorry, it is very hard what you're going through and the fact that you are graduating means that you are a very strong person. I would suggest doing something that comforts you or maybe takes your mind off it, even though it's not easy to do. You should try to get help from counselors or a psychologist though; they don't have to be someone you know. Remember that all of your father's wisdom and love is inside you, so he will always be there. Good luck in life and congratulations on graduating high school.

Do you have any family members that you can talk to?? If not, perhaps seeing a counselor will help. I lost my mom when I was 12 and I've been to see a counselor several times over the years. It's been over 30 years and its still hard.

You could get some counseling or just talk to your mom about how great he was and what he looked like. I know what its like not having a father it is very sad and you wish you had a guy figure in your life. I think it is okay to cry because then he'll know you care a lot about him and remember he is watching you from up in heaven. I bet he thinks your a beautiful human bein

TAke the memories and write his life...... make a book about him and what it is that makes him a part of who you are.... do not fight the feelings so hard, that is the biggest mistake ppl make about grief !! they seem to think that there is a time limit on pain.... Use it to remember him..... gather pictures and stories from the ones who knew him best..... I think you will find that with the more you write and compile in the book the better and happier you will be and the grief will fade, not away, but soften into a gentle breeeze........ God bless

people only die when they are forgotten your father lives on in your heart and your memories. i know that you were only very litlle when he passed but you have your family to tell you stories about him and how he was with you. if you forget him then he will truly die. but if you continue to talk about him and even tell your children he will live on forever. as for how you deal with it, dont cry you have to smile for all the times that you did have with him even if it was only for a short while.

Since this world is temporary (we all die) it is not the REAL wold. And since God always was and always will be, that is real. He has therefore gone to the real world.
