The sweetest wine that I ever had was an Ice wine. Called the nectar of the Gods, you only need a cordial glass to serve it in. It is almost like drinking honey. You can buy a good bottle for around $20.

I only drink really sweet wine which is white. Any Reisling wine is good. I get this one that is a german brand that is in a blue bottle with gold moons on it. Another white wine I get is in a box. It's called White Sangria and I can only find it at Super Targets, but I think you might be able to find it at a Meijer. I think it's in a yellow box too. Well I hope you try them!

REAL wine or KOOL-AID wine (arbor mist, mad dog, etc.)?
REAL WINE: try a late harvest riesling. sweet and fruity. very nice when it's hot outside.
gewurztraminer - a sweet fruity white from germany. pronounced GEV-urts-tra-meener.
and my all-time favorite white wine is MAMERTINO. it's 'caesar's wine.' caesar comissioned this wine to be made after some historic battle i can't remember, but the story's on the label. it's light, sweet but not too sweet, and slightly effervescent (bubbly). if you can find it, TRY it!
you should be able to get all of the above for around $10/bottle. some rieslings and gewurztraminers are less than $10, and mamertino is usually around $12.
good luck and enjoy!

Well many are. Are you discussing brands or are you merely regarding white and red. Most red wines will not be of a sweeter category. White wines are known for having a great amount of sweetness as well as favorable blush wines which are in most basic remarks a compromise of red and white.

Bad wines are sweet to hide the crappy flavour. Good wines shouldn't need to be sweet. Drink pop if you want sweet.

Port and Sangria are two. Some of those dessert wines are more like syrup to me. Yuck.
