There was a time when I didn't believe in ghosts and thought anyone who did was superstitious or drunk or on drugs or something. I can understand those who don't believe in them because I was once that way. But I have had experiences where I can't deny that I believe in them now. The most recent was a while ago, though (August). She was a young teenage girl who looked like she could be in my family if there were another girl in my family besides my sisters and I. I had just turned out the lights and had just sat in my bed when I saw her. She just kindof looked at me and smiled. I was quite startled, but not scared. It lasted about four seconds and then she was gone. I haven't told anyone about her until now, though. My youngest sister is scared to death of ghosts (she's still in the young almost afraid of the dark stage) and she would absolutely freak out if she knew that I saw one in our own house. I figured I'd let her grow up before I told her, if ever. I know this isn't too typical of ghost stories. But that's my main experience, though I've had a couple of smaller ones before this (mostly feeling them put their arm around my shoulder, etc.). So far, I've only had experiences with "good" ghosts, though (thank goodness). So I'm happy about it.

I'll tell you what! *I* have! Lots of them.
I even ate some my last trip to Mexico. They call it cabrito or something like that. Pretty tasty stuff.
Huh? What you say? (hmm....)
It's come to my attention that you probably ain't talking about goats.
Sorry for the intrusion into your question. Pardon me. Excuse me. Just looking for the door. (meh! what SOME people will stoop to for a couple of lousy points)
EDIT: you know, I thought this answer was pretty original and funny. So, what's up with the thumb down? No sense of humor? Don't like goats? Maybe you should try cabrito! It really IS good.

saw a show once that claimed ghost sightings are always in older buildings, the magnetic fields from old wiring caused the brain to do strange things. They tested with electrodes etc and there was more brain activity in the older buildings.

Yup. Seen them pass through occasionally. Grew up a few blocks away from a cemetary.

My Aunt lives in a huge house in Tennessee. She has a ghost named Mary in her house. A lot of people from my family that have stayed there confirmed this. I choose not to go....I'm cool.....I think it is provoked since they keep her picture in the attic.....Screw that

yes i've seen ghosts but i do not believe that they are spirits of dead humans who haven't "crossed over" or whatever - they are demon spirits who sometimes mimic humans to deceive the living.
