i just bought a new comp. with vista installed. im trying to install avast antivirus, but i keep getting. error code...10006 (00003ee)
what doese this mean?...and how do i fix it?

make sure you download the newest version of Avast! The minimum version of avast! Home/Professional Edition compatible with Windows Vista is 4.7.892.

Good question, I don't know. The best thing is to contact Avast Antivirus support tech and ask them, cuz it's from their software (the error). Try contacting Microsoft Support as well.
I was unable to find if others had that same error.

Check ur version of avast A.V . And also see is it compability to run on vista. As vista is new so old version of A.V dont work onit.
other wise Try avg anti virus or quickheal. These are good.

vista already has its own av source the error is because u are trying to install a second type clashes are imminent

get rid of it and use avg free antivirus-its free and supports vista
use google to find the download site
