why do people do it ? are they not happy with the people they are with ?. i know this one guy and he has been cheating on his girlfriend for over 3 years i guess. but i just want to know why? he said i love her but i dont know if she is "the one"

People cheat not because they're not happy with the person they're with but because they're not happy with themselves. They need the 'high' or excitement of cheating. For men, it usually makes them feel powerful if they didn't learn how to feel powerful through positive means like commitment, faithfulness, etc.

I don't really know. My best friend had been going out with one of his best friends last year. They were great together. Never argued and he would of told me if they even had problems. After two and a half (estimated) months, she cheated on him and lied about it. He was... kind of broken and never wanted to talk to her again.
Here's the ironic thing, she was cheated on by her bf before him and she was totally devastated, and then she does it to him, the person that she confided in when it happened to her. So my question is, why the hell do ppl do if they know how it makes the other person feel!?

Once the "cheating" game started, the relationship is on the rock. When either party cheats, mean they are insecure with their relationship. No such thing of not enuf affection or loving from guys / girls. The affection to be shown by both parties. Not one sided only.
For my own eyes, i've seen my colleague cheating on his wife. But his wife still stuck with him all these years. ...

guys cheat mostly they are like horny dogs that can`t control there hormones there attracted to every good looking girl or guy with looks and just it and you know what i mean by IT. the guys or girls who cheat are very dirty people. they run into a relationship way to fast and what they think they want they really don`t and when they see something better they cheat. they should get to know people to see if there the one and they probaly won`t cheat. i hope this helps you. deja parkmanâ¥

I'm currently the "other woman" in a relationship.
Im 21, he is 20, she is 17. For us we are good friends who just took it too far, and although we are still great friends we sometimes sleep with each other when we hang out together. For me its fun and he is hot, and this is harsh but she is young so she would get over it and for him I think it is the excitement and the fact that he doesn't have sex with her very often at all.

Cheating is the most cowardly act of all men or women.
To break up and try someone new takes guts,cause you always riak rejection and people are scared of that,so instead they cheat so they'll still have someone love them...Cowardly!

that the millon dollar question. but i believe that people cheated
because they looking for the excitimet of it all. . and this guy is
like most people that feel that they can justify what they are doing
by saying things, like this. if she not the one then why are you
still with her. you dont need to cheat just be honest about what
you want.
