You are 13 years old. And, you cannot say you hold all the answers to the universe at 13. It's pretty simple actually. It is easier to believe that someone at 13 can be a Christian and believe in something that they cannot see than to think someone that young will completely give up on the idea of something that is unseen is indeed real.
The truth is that at 13, you are still highly influenced by peers and parents. And, many people probably are thinking that you are not speaking your own opinion that you have thought about very carefully, but that you are speaking the opinion of those around you (peers, parents).
Either way that you choose, you need to make your choice carefully. It's not something you should just toss around like it's not big deal. Be able to defend what you believe no matter what it is.
In the meantime, if you are unsure how to spell what you say you believe, then don't you think you need to rethink this a little more closely? Just a thought.

I guess people view atheists in a certain way, but it is no more nor less acceptable for young people to be Atheist than to follow a religion.

Im 17, and im agnostic... I choose no religion, it all about judgement, acception, and classification...
I cant prove anything about any god...
I cant believe in something I cant see or prove...
I cant believe that someone makes my decisions for me...
Its just not logical to believe that no matter what I do, all I can ask is for forgiveness and I go to heaven... Its just stupid...

if you know in your heart what you are don't listen to them. To those that ask ask them if they were christian at 13 and if so ask them how they can be at 13.

dont know if you feel you still other influences in your life then thats proableuy why but if wat im saying is making sense then you shouldnt worry about cause its achoice and you dont have to force it or preach it to everybody it can be your and your s alone

The reason people say that is because you are so young and impressionable. Trust me, sweetie, you will change your mind a mililon times before you are old enough to understand. There is a lot in the world that you do not understand due to your age. For your sake, I hope that when you do change your mind, you keep it turned toward Jesus. Why are you so earer to be faithless? Life is much better with Faith in Jesus.
