alot of people are encourging me to go on a low carb diet have to lose weight for my wedding and i tried it i ate eggs chicken and thats all i new to eat what eles can you eat ? and how much can i lose on low carb in a week i heared as much as 7 pounds

Another human is correct about carbs. Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Salt has no calories but makes you fat and burning more calories does not help this fatness.

My dad does low carb a lot, carbs tend to bother him, but he usually makes stirfry (sp?) Basicly he puts a bunch of vegetables and meat in a skillet and cooks it and eats it just like that. I heard that you can get low carb wraps but you may want to avoid those. Basicly I think you want to avoid breads.

If you find that you are hungry between meals, I suggest drinking a glass of water and waiting 30 minutes, if you're still hungry you're truely hungry but if you're not you were thirsty. Also, even when on a diet you need exercise try taking a 30 minute walk every day or doing something fun like Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) if you have a playstation or are near an arcade. Toning your body by going ot the gym and lifting weights and working out on the machines is a good way to shape your body.

where low carb diets are a quick weight loss considering you lose mostly water weight, they are not good however for the long haul, since you are doing it for a special occasion, high protein is your only option, I suggest cottage cheese (low fat, one serving about 6 carbs, 11 protein, under 90 calories) and you can get your dairy from that, also cheese, eggs, and low carb tortillas are good too. because it will eventually drive you crazy looking at the back of food items in the store, general rule is, dont eat anything white like pasta and potatoes, ALSO root beer just came out with a great diet that has no carbs and taste great. always remember, every 6 day eat a good carb meal to keep your body on its toes

I lost 6.5#s. My mother in law lost 9 lbs. We've been doing low carb for one week today.

You can have soup. Chili Beans, cheese, ham, lima beans, almonds, sugar free jello.

Be careful of your sugars.

Don't eat bread, corn, potatoes, rice, grits.

No fruit during the first 2 weeks.

Take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water before a meal. Curbs your appetite so you will eat less. When we overeat, its because we need vitamins and minerals. ACV has 9i3 of them. You can get it at any grocery store. After 2 bites, you will feel so full that you cannot eat anymore. Read about acv on the websites. From former food addict. Hair and nails will grow long and strong. Cures depression and anxiety. You will feel so alive because acv is a live food, Your body will love you for it.

Eat low carb stuff...haha, you can eat like eggs and meats and basically anything that doesn't have a lot of sugar.

low carb diets are crap people need carbs for energy. the soloution is to exercise. not cut out carbs.
