Evolution is simply the act of change. We have all witnessed the evolution of society throughout the past, especially the last six years. We have witnessed the continued evolution of technology and through genetics and science, we are now witnessing the next evolution in human beings. The changes do not have to be big at first to make a large impact in the long run.

there are a certain species of fish in the great lakes that have made an adaptation that puts them apart from fish of the same ilk, and for the past 10 years or so have been breeding exclusively with each other, and not the other type of fish, from which they evolved. It is due to the lakes warming up, I believe, although I can't be sure.

But we have. We have seen it in moths, in bacteria (antibiotic resistance is an evoluton to protect the species is it not?), and in the subtle shifts of many of earth's species as the deal with our (human) presence on this planet. That is how I know it to be true.

Evolution does exist and we all have seen it in animals.
Example: Breed a Greyhound dog to a German Shepard.
The problem with that though is were did the dogs come from?In order for something to evolve something must first be.Evolution contradicts itself. No one has to prove it wrong.Just like Richard H's version of scientist watching viruses evolve in a jar.Let's see them put noting in a jar and make something evolve. It's IMPOSSIBLE!

Nobody can and nobody ever will, it is as big a leap of faith as religion, but because some scientists can't think of anything better, it is a proven fact in a lot of people's minds. Evolution is the new christianity.
