As hairdressers, we don't design people's hair to match their outfits. It's the shape of the face, personality, and age of the person we are designing for. Find a picture of some celebrities your age, and seeming to have your type hair, then look for a hairdresser to help you pick one good look for you.
If you were to choose to do the ringlettes someone else suggested, just because they are similar to the dress, your hair and dress would be the focus. You yourself would almost seem to disappear.
On the other hand, if you choose a style that is best for your face, age, and occasion, your will be the focus, as a whole. It could be that a style with ringlettes may just be the ticket, check it out with your hairdresser.

curls look really good. the tube part and the fact that ur slim are both kinda "straight in a way" so curls really add something to any gown

Leave your hair down and have it curled in ringlets
