When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. [Deuteronomy 24:1-2]
&
Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery. [Luke 16:18]

God seems confused about divorce laws in the Bible.

I agree. I think that whole "oh well Jesus coming erased all the old testament stuff. Except the 10 commandments. And the whole thing that you inherit sin. And the thing about how ... " and so on
Is
A
Crock.
They just like to twist things to suit themselves.

Ooh, you're a sneaky one! That's not what Deuteronomy 24:1-2 says. What it really says is that ,...
..."sends her from his house, 2 and IF AFTER she leaves his house she becomes the wife of another man, 3 and her second husband dislikes her and writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house, or if he dies, 4 then her first husband, who divorced her, is not allowed to marry her again after she has been defiled.,..."
It does not give permission for her to remarry, but it specifically says that if she did remarry, then she has been defiled and cannot be reunited to her first husband.
There is no contradiction in these two passages. The first states that a divorced woman who has [committed a sin in remarrying] cannot be reunited to her first husband because she is defiled.
The second simply states that it is a sin to marry again after a divorce.
Unfortunately, much of the church has chosen to ignore what the bible says about divorce. It's the people, and not the bible, which is confused.

Hey, you cheated. You took those passages out of the Old AND New Testaments. Any good Christian will tell you that we are under a new covenant because of Christ, and the old laws we used to follow are obsolete, unless upheld by Jesus.

the Quran encouraged people to get divorced if its the only way out, after you tried every method like: discussing, comprising, giving. but its the one thing that God hated the most.

A great deal of the Bible was written by murderers--Moses,David,Paul--so perhaps it was their innate criminal minds that lead to so many confusing & contradictory rulings.--:]
