She knows I like her and lately we have been doing some hand holding. She has been kidding around with me. She no longer comes up and starts a conversation though. I always have to go find her. When I start the conversation, she seems interested, but she will sometimes walk away. If I walk away though, she follows sometimes or watches me. She also did not acknowledge me this evening which she always does. Might she have been angry with me? Was she playing hard to get? Is she not interested?

As a funny side comment, she was so concentrated on what I was saying during one of our conversations that she backed into my mom while leaving. Just thought that was funny!

It depends. Most likely she is playing hard to get and I know because I am the same way. If she is a prideful or shy person she does not want to have to walk up to you and say hi. She probably figures, if he likes me he will make the first move, or she might be too scared to. I don't think she is not interested because she wouldn't be holding your hand if she wasn't. And yes, you may have pissed her off if you did not acknowledge her or if you were talking to other girls...she might be the jealous type.

It does seem like she is playing hard to get with you, either that or she likes you alot, and has a tendency to be shy.
She probably doesnt come up and start a conversation with you because she wants to see if you would do it first, to just get an idea of how much you like her.
For the part where you say that she seems interested in your conversation but yet, seem to walk away...well , maybe she wants you to follow her, so you guys can ''walk'' together, instead of standing there and having you stare at her while your talking, which can be a little intimidating for shy girls.
that should be the justification for her actions, but it can also be because she is playing around with your emotions. The best thing for you to do, is just to talk to her whenever you have the chance, but don't go find her. If you run into her, than talk to her, flirt a little to let her know that you still like her, but don't go overboard. Mellow out a little bit, and watch to see how she reacts, If she really likes you, she would show obvious signs, let her make the next move.
