showering everyday with hot water will cause you to start losing hair and eventually become bald.

That is a myth. The only bad thing about showering with very hot water is that it is very drying to your skin. You will not go bald just because of showering everyday with hot water, you will just be clean with maybe some dry skin. Hope this helps. :)

It must be a myth because I have been doing this for years and I have enough hair for myself and a few others. I have to have my hair cut about every four to five weeks to keep the shape of it like I want it.

Well, after having been a hairdresser since 1970, that is a first on me!
Definately, a MYTH!
Daily washing your hair will make it dry, and possibly more breakable (especially with poor quality shampoos), thus making it seem like you are loosing it, but definately not the case.

...that is not a myth - it's a straight up LIE!!!...
...being bald has to do with what's going on inside the body as well as genetics...
...like a severely poor diet or the fact that every male in your family tree lost their hair before a certain age...

Balding is a genetic trait that is inherited from your mothers side of the family. The mother caries the gene for baldness...not sure if I spell this right but it's called alopecia........the rest is myth.

I can tell you from personal experience that it is true. I have absolutely no body hair after 50 years of hot showers.

no honey you are not going to be bald but shampooing your hair everyday is not good, you strip the natural oils that keep your hair healthy. and cool or luke warm water is better to keep the tangles out if you have long hair.
