There is nothing wrong with splurging every now and then. Also, though Capri-Suns might have less calories, it is probably less healthy than the chocolate milk.
Capri-Suns only have 5-10% fruit juice depending on the variety. Milk has calcium, vitamin D, protein, and if you are drinking low fat chocolate milk (which I believe is mandated for schools to serve low fat milk - my daughter's school does) it's probably not as bad as you think.
Also, put things into perspective - your daily caloric intake should be approximately 1200-1500 calories a day,,, The difference of 60 calories isn't going to make or break you - if you drink it once in a while.

It is a shame that you cannot buy chocolate milk that isn't paired with 2% or lower milk. It is unfortunate that, the lower your fat content, the higher the sugar that lace it with.
I don't think I'd be happy with a lot of the Capri Sun. It does get old after awhile.
Hmm..I'd say, indulge yourself. If you're looking for variety, there's always the drink mixes. I'm partial to the Fruit Punch. It is pretty hard to mess the flavor of that one up. Grape and Cherry are always good standbys. Kind of nice to have 0 sugar, too. >Just watch out for those headaches>

I would get the chocolate milk because milk has calcium which is good for you and I love chocolate. Even though Capri-Sun has less calories, it has no nutritional value at all, so it is just a waste of calories. Have you ever considered drinking regular milk or water instead?

a recent study of chocolate milk was done. It involved runners who drank choc. milk after their workout instead of water or gatorade. The athletes who drank choc. milk were able to run twice as long after their break than the others. It had to do with the fact that choc. milk has both carbs from the sugar and protien from the milk.
I think Chocolate milk is a good option. Especially if it is a somewhat small container. DEFINATELY better that Capri-sun which has little or no nutritional value.
Water is always a good hydrator, too : )

At 15 you are still a kid. Depending on how far over 500 pounds you are, it is up to you - that extra 60 calories is easily burned off because kids have high energy anyway. If you are tempted by the chocolate milk by all means have it.
After all, you just said that you may as well enjoy life as a kid.
Have whatever you feel like and be free!

Chocolate milk is one of the best things a growing teenager can drink. It builds muscle and is especially recommended after a good physical workout.

Milks good for your bones too...I drink it everyday when I come home from school. It's better than some greesy fries or chips.
