Mr. Pibb is similar to Dr. Pepper. So it's a tangy-cherry-plum-like flavor, with hints of cinnamon and saffron.

But it not an "off-brand." It is made by Coca-Cola, and it has a far superior flavor to Dr. Pepper. It is smoother and more flavorful, while Dr. Pepper is bland and far too sweet in comparison.

Some say Mr. Pibb is the finest soft drink on the market.

Many hold that Mr PiBB had a flavor distinct from, and more nuanced than, Dr Pepper, with slight hints of both root beer and chocolate

Mr. Pipp is root beer. "Family Guy" did a whole episode on Mr Pibb. Peter finally met Mr. Pibb as the voice of Peter Graves.
