About a month ago I allowed two Elders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) into my home to share a word with me. They have been commimg back periodically and I have been going to church with them and have partially taken in their religion. As many of you may not know, the Mormon faith is merely another new testiment. Judaism uses only the old testiment, Catholicism and Christianity use the old and new testiment, and The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints uses the old and new testiment and the Book of Morman, the book of Morman is basically an addition to the bible. Now back to my question, I was speaking with my Elders moments ago on the phone and a question arose, in the bible is states that every living creature has the ability to give testimony to the existance of Jesus Christ and Elder Bohn asked me, what about the dinosaurs... in other words, every animal and every human has this ability, so how could dinosaurs possibly give testimony?

okay yes yes yes i know i typed the word "living" but that does not mean that they need to currently be living, the people in the bible give testimony to Jesus Christ and they are now all dead, and the new answer for this will be well they wrote, okay yes dinosaurs could not write i understand this, and they were also animals i understand that, but even humans by definition are animals, ugh, and it says "EVERY CREATURE" so even the fact that they are animals does not fully exempt them from the possibility of testimony. i was merely asking in what way could the prove the existance of god other than their mere existance ... people here are harsh grr, and yes i know it is a cult, and i know there is a possiblity that Joseph Smith could have made it up, but overall I still remain open to the possiblity of its truthfulness .... im not an atheist but i dont believe in any particular religion, i merely believe in the existance of god as the overall starting force of our existance

wow lol you people all seem so evil so the next addition would be the question as to who has power to determain the truth of even the bible? i accept the possibility of the book of mormon being a fake but i also accept the possiblity that even the bible may have been merely a bed time story ... and dont start yelling at me calling me and atheist or a sinner of blah blah blah im merely saying that i believe even hinduism and buddhism and shintoism and even mythological consepts and even the muslim faith are all possible in equivalent amounts and i will never fuly accept one faith over another .... it was just a simple question and i still havent gotten an answer. i will be sure to moreso fully ask my questions before posting them and make sure there are no loopholes or mistakes or anything period .... and yeah i know about the undergarments thing

It is a testament to another Jesus Christ. It is an anachronistic book and one that is not inspired of God and does not live up to its billing as being the most correct book on the face of the earth.
Your question about the dinosaurs giving testimony is a relatively simple thing. These are large reptiles and they are mentioned in the Bible. They give a testimony of the age of the earth.

First - if you are interested in Christianity that is GREAT - but DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THE MORMON CHURCH!!!
There is no such thing as a third book - the last paragraph of the Bible says to not add anything to it, clearly.
Did you know the Mormons believe that Jesus was not conceived by the Holy Spirit, that you can reach a level where you become a god, that marriages are eternal, they wear special protective underwear too (nothing in the Bible about that!) and many more things that are directly opposed to the foundations of Christianity - they are a CULT - lots of weird stuff - religious and nothing to do with the realities of a personal relationship with Jesus.
Go to a good non-denominational Bible believing Christian church or American Baptist, etc - go where God is truly honored and where the Word is taught in truth - it can determine your purpose and eternal life.

I hope this at least helps answer your questions. Firstly, I can't find the scripture in the Bible that says that every living creature can give testimony of Jesus existence. Maybe I'm phrasing that wrong...?
Christians believe that Jesus Christ is eternal, that He has been around since the beginning of time. Christ was around before any other living creature was created. I will let you know that the rest of this answer comes from Greg Albrecht, at PTM.org, a great website for answering lots of your biblical questions.
'Jesus, who was, in the flesh, very man and very God—God without limitation, while voluntarily accepting the limitation of the flesh so that he might die for our sins (see Philippians 2:5-11). Jesus said that he was both one and the same as God (John 10:30) as well as saying that “My Father is greater than I” (John 14:28).
So, it seems that this is a contradiction. In one chapter of John, Jesus says that he and his Father are one, yet four chapters later he says that his Father is greater. Humanly, it is a contradiction. But God is not subject to our understanding of the universe. God is beyond space and time, existing in eternity, while we are finite, mortal, limited to time and space. God dwells in eternity.
As the Son of God, the Word, Jesus has existed eternally. He is the Eternal Son of God (see John 1:15-18). Jesus is “the Alpha and the Omega…who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8)'.

I would advise you to examine very very very thoroughly ALL the teachings of the Church of Latter Day Saints before you get deeper into it.

If you believe that Jesus and Satan were born as brothers, or that God lives on another planet and is physically breeding a different race, then ignore what I tell you and join up!

Perhaps what was being referred to is that every living thing, through its existence, can give testimony to the grace of God, his love for all of his children. I look at the leaves budding out on a tree limb during the first few days of Spring and see the beautify in this world that was created for us. That testifies to me of the love of God for us , to provide such a beautiful place to dwell on.

The dinosaurs. Perhaps God knew that in our day and age, we would all be needing fossil fuels to make our lives progressive. The fossil fuels heat our homes, fuel our transportation and run our machinery. Perhaps God knew that, and as we know, provided plant and animal life (dinosaurs) that are now dead and decayed and which now after all that time produce the substance of what the oil and natural gas are formed from.

So yes, in that sense, even the dinosaurs can testify of God.
PS Listening to missionaries is a good thing. A very good thing. Good luck to you and may God bless.

Living things give testimony of Christ by their obedience to His laws; by our actions and example we can give the greatest testimony. When God created the Earth, the plants, animals, etc. he commanded them to behave/act w/in the laws he established. By living within gods established laws they are honoring God. Hope this answers your question.

As to your general acceptance of all things...I agree that you can find good in most things, including religion, and I have incorporated much of what I have learned from many religions into my life, but if you believe in God, and you believe He loves us, then it is difficult to also believe He would sanction/be in support of multiple religions when those religions teach vary different things about Him. I do not believe it is God's intention to confuse us, and that is what He would be doing if multiple religions were true. I think God is not a God of confusion and would not want to confuse us. That being said, God is the only Judge and it is likely that people of many religions will ultimately receive the greatest reward. But, I do think His hand is on this Earth at all times and that He has provided a clear path for each of us. Hope that makes sense.

If you will read the end of the book of Revelation , it says not to add to or take away from the Bible. So, the book of mormon is adding to the Bible. You are being brainwashed and slowly introduced to a cult. I know the truth about the mormon church. I have 1st hand knowledge of it.

Read your own writing.

The Bible says, any "living" creature.

Where do the dinosaurs live at in your neighborhood?

I am sure if the dinosaurs had been able to read, and had known of God, you would have had those whom professed Christianity.

BTW do you have any understanding of exactly who Joseph Smith was and what he did? Read up on that before you take up his religion.

Serious!! they can't...they don't exist anymore. Was this a trick question.??
Besides...Read the end of the New Testament..not theirs, but the original. It says not to add to the end of this book...you read the rest. I am sorry that you are caught.
All creatures can attest to the creation by being and showing the greatness of God through their existence.

one problem.

the book of mormon was written by a man. while the other books were also written by men this man was alive recently (compared to the authors of the bible)

the book of mormon is basically one guys attempt to add to the bible. its grown into a cult. thje people you go to church with are cult followers.

im an atheist so i could care less about what you beleive. just so you know mormonism is basiclaly a cult.

you can try to defend it as much as you want but in the end it stil lremains a cult. theres no getting out of it.

so.....

and no, dinosaurs cant give testimony. duh. they cant speak.
