I made a move on my good guy friend a little while ago by giving the guy I liked a hug on V-Day.
Anyways, I emailed him the next night asking him if he wanted to go see a movie this weekend. I haven't received a reply yet.
Answer: You never know until you try. Just make sure he is giving off the right signals.
Most people would say he likes you, but you cannot always be sure.

First thing, try to drop hints by him and say stuff about love in the future and how you want the perfect guy. Try to describe him as your dream guy. He might get the clue. But some guys are stupid and just might not. Sooner or later when you alone with him ask him a few questions of what he expects out of a girl. When the time is right, tell him that you have had feeling for him since whenever you started liking him. If he doesn't feel the same way than try to move on. Focus on other things that may take your time up. Too much time on your hands could keep you thinking about him for months and die of a broken heart. If you really love him put it in a perspective when you talk to him. Friends are supposed to be honest with each other. Then tell him the truth. Don't rush things. I've been in this situation before and he actually liked me back. So we went out for a while and we are still going. Don't put all your hope that he will feel the same way. Just remember, coincidences happen everyday. And I'm with you in body, mind and spirit.

This happened to me once if you really like your best guy friend ask him how he fells about that because if you guys are really close it might feel weird and ruin you relationship as friends. If he like you back you should go out with him and tell him i want to be friends to the very end. Also tell him that you don't want this to be weird.

Consider: What happens if he doesn't like you back? Will it get awkward? Will you be okay if it gets awkward? And if it does, was it worth it? OR, what happens if you never tell him?
I think you should eventually tell him, but pick the perfect moment. Make sure it won't get awkward because you'll be losing a friendship adnd an opportunity to be with him. Be careful. Good luck!
