Okay, you say your mom is taking you to the doctor tomorrow! Make a list of the symptoms you are experiencing and take it with you to give to the doctor. From this they can tell what, if anything, they need to do to help. This is easier to let the doctor know than trying to talk because you have everything there in writing and you don't have to worry about forgetting. Or, write a letter about your symptoms and your feelings and your fears and give it to the receptionist to put in your file for the doctor to read before he/she comes in to see you. Then you know you have everything addressed.

Tell them that what you really need to know is that you are okay. If it means running some tests and they show everything is fine, it will help you to let go of the anxiety about it. I'm 33 and sometimes I just don't know if I'm okay or not. The doctor will do some bloodwork and it will be normal and it is such a reassurance to me that I really am fine and I can relax.

It does sound like you are being a hypochondriac. It also may simply mean you are feeling new feelings in your body (which may be due to the onset of puberty, by the way) and you are afraid. Sometimes, myself included, people can be paying so much attention to their body that they literally feel their body working as it is supposed to and misinterpret it as something being wrong. You are right, the more you pay attention to something the more it seems to become real, even if it is not.

If the doctor does decide to put you on medication for anxiety, depression, OCD, and that kind of thing, ask to see a psychiatrist. They are better able to sit down and narrow down which medications are best for you. Regular family doctors often just prescribe some popular drug and send you home with no follow-up. Then, when it doesn't help, you end up having even a harder time. A psychiatrist will figure out which drug is best, follow up to make changes as necessary, and monitor you much more closely to make sure things are working right than your family doctor will. In addition, if it is a 'mental' thing - and remember that mental and physical always go together - the best treatment to make things better is to get therapy as well. This will help you to understand what is happening and why and help you learn to control your anxieties. Both together help more than either one alone.

Hopefully, you'll be feeling better soon! This is a time in your life when things in your body and your head kinda go haywire, so to speak. It's okay to be kinda freaked but remind yourself that chances are you are okay. It's okay to be afraid and overwhelmed; it makes you normal. Take good care of you!

Okay..let's just relax.
Does your family history support your fear? Have you been to a doctor lately or had any other types of symptoms? Do you have any significant medical condition?
If the answers are 'no', then it might just be an unsupported fear or, yes, anxiety.
If you have other stress in your life like school or work, you might need to just spend some time doing stress-free activities that you enjoy. Get a good night's sleep each night, stay away from alcohol, and reflect on how your situation might be affecting your mood. If your fear still persists, then see adoctor. If there is something wrong, it's better to know and get treatment than to worry about it all the time.

ok, stop all the craziness in your mind and go see a doctor. tell the doctor your symptoms. He will do a bunch of tests charge you alot of money. Once you realize how much the bill is you will get your mind off of yourself and think about how you are going to pay the bill. My guess is that you probalby need to get some professional help. Go see a Psychotrist (sp?). You should be able to get the help you need there.
for the pain in your joint, and leg, if the doctor doesnt find anything wrong, the go see a Chriopractor. They can do wonders for you. Good luck

I have a tumor on my back not that it has anything to do with what your asking. If you had a brain tumor you would have pain in your head that would drop you to your knees. You need to see a doctor for sure and get it removed if you do have one. Not all tumors are bad most dont spread like you think they do.

first of all do not self diagnose. second a brain tumor will bring different symptoms based on the localized area in the brain. schedule an appointment with your primary phycisian and he will rule out based on a physical examination.

Maybe you suffer from panic attacks... Have you seen a doctor?? You should get an MRI to rule out any brain "issues" just in case..

self diagnosis is worthless (I know from, personal experience). Go see a Doctor and then you can study up on what they tell you so you can try to be an informed patient

You need to seek professional help from a psychiatrist! Don't put it off, because this can lead to depression, and ruin your life. Good luck, and take care.
