Some were very close in my first question, but not quite grasped the real meaning of it!

Suga_Suga you are burning! Very close, but what duped him?

Here's an important passage: “I am not stupid,” said the man. “It is therefore my good appointment for which I am not fit. It is very strange, but I must not let any one know it;” and he praised the cloth, which he did not see, and expressed his joy at the beautiful colours and the fine pattern. “It is very excellent,” he said to the emperor.
(Does it help so far?)

MORE EXTRA DETAILS: "and there's millions of people
to offer advice and say how I should be
but they're twisted
and they will never be any influence on me"

"whatever it may bring
I will have my own policies
I will sleep with a clear conscience
I will sleep in peace"

"maybe it sounds mean
but I really don't think so
you asked for the truth and I told you
through they're own words
they will be exposed
they've got a severe case of
the emperor's new clothes."

you can see in this story what you want too see!

Here are a few things I think of,

Pride comes before a fall
A fool and his money are easily parted
He who dares wins
People are never more stupid then when they just follow others

I have never seen this before but I think Its about people collectively believing a myth, despite their personal experience. It's harder to think for yourself then just gullibley go along with what your told.
Or oi, you gullible muppets think for yourselves

It means don't be gullible and conceited at the same time.

I suppose what duped him was someone who convinced him to believe in something that wasn't there. With enough conviction in his voice, the man convinced the emperor that what obviously DIDN'T exist DID exist.

it means that you are self concious as if you were naked. because the emperors new clothes is a story about an emperor that was duped into believing this cheat that toldhim to buy this "invisible clothes" from him but he actually paid the guy for nothing at all.

I heard this story a long time ago, and before the site you have posted. An Emporer was displeased by his clothing; everything he put on made him fell fat and ugly. A man came by and convinced him to change clothes; so he did. He ruled with his nudity, flaunting his new appearance. No shame, but confidence with *****, originality, and utter boldness; leaving his mark in history.

It means you had con men make your clothes and ended up showing everyone how small it really is.

It basically means that vanity often overrides truth.

being so blind to reality that you don't see that you are naked and being robbed for all the world to see...and the world is letting it happen as they see it..

Yes, you"believe" you have something that you don't, it's only a "belief" no "truth" in it.
