I have seen people who don't believe in God with all type of devils and sculls and demons tattoos but don't believe that there is a God. How can a person believe it something created by God but not the Creator?

I don't understand what the tattoos have to do with anything. If someone doesn't believe in God, then they don't believe in God. And they wouldn't believe he created things so again, that would have no bearing on their beliefs. If they have tattoos of eagles or buffalo that doesn't mean they believe in the great spirits many Native Americans believe in. Many people with skull and devil tattoos do believe in God. Also, many people have different views of what/who God is...some believe in God the Creator, some believe in many Gods, some believe God is a universal conscientiousness or higher power, some do not believe at all.

I don't know any atheists that actually believe in Satan and not God. Honestly, I can't think of one. Who do YOU know?

Oh, and... my mothers friend has a tattoo of Sparky, the ASU mascot. He's a "devil" holding a pitchfork. Are you saying this means something more than "Hey, I'm a fan of ASU football"?

Atheist is not to believe in any "superior" thing, either a god or a demon. If they believe in the devil they are satanic, not atheist.

Skulls have NOTHING to do with god. Demons, nope not all of them have to do with god either. Maybe they are into Greek mythology?

Most of the time people get tattoos because they like them.

So if I get a tattoo of Garfield, then I believe Garfield is real?

Where did you pick up that logic?

I know of no atheists that believe in a devil.

I know of no atheist who believes in the devil.

Having tattoos of mythology figures does not constitute belief--I doubt everyone with a tat of a fairy or a dragon believes they are real.

I know dozens of atheists in my real life - and have met over 100 online. I've never met one that believes in the devil and not god.

Are you just pulling this directly from your asse or what?

No they don't.

There is a group that is basically atheists that call themselves Satanists. But if you really look at their beliefs they really don't believe in Satan any more than I do. They just want to mock religion.
