I've read a lot in magazines about doing things to sharpen your mind to help you remember. Memory quizzes, crossword puzzles, things like that.
I know what you're going through. I'm 36 & I'll stand up to do something & before I take the first step I forget what I was going to do.
Actually, it's much worse than that. I forget names, how to get to places that I've been to many times before...

I started having memory problems about the same age, and it has been very frustrating and embarrassing. I have found some help with a supplement called "Mental Edge". made by Source Naturals. If you take it with Ginkgo Bilboa, it is supposed to be even better. I haven't tried the Ginkgo Bilboa though.

Memory loss could be a side-effect of a head injury earlier in life, and it could be due to alzheimers, dead or non-functioning neurons in your brain, as well as circulation issues. You may not be getting enough bloodflow to your brain, and the consequence of this is that your not getting enough oxygen, which means your brain may not be functioning at optimal level and you could be killing cells.
I recommend working with a skilled physician that can help you. I personally believe that, at your age, you can take control of your memory loss issues before they get out of hand, and you can be functioning at a high level once more. You need to eat healthy, and exercise. You need to avoid saturated and trans fats since they create the "bad" cholesterol inside of your body, which is known as LDL, or low-density lypoprotein cholosterol. LDL cholesterol will clog up your arteries, limiting the amount of blood that goes through. You can raise your HDL cholesterol by eating certain things: especially omega-3 fatty acids. HDL cholesterol will destroy the LDL, improving the condition of your arteries.

Remember, physical activity improves arterial function and better arterial function improves brain function. Im not a doctor, go see one... if you can remember to

Ginko Biloba and ginseng work really well. Also if you are really stressed that can make your memory go. Try to find ways to de-stress during the day.

Start using notes in life so you don't have to consume more information; can't replace brain cells so good luck with that.
