I self-harm on average, a couple of times a week (cut myself). Should i talk about this in therapy? I would like to talk about it but then i don't want to stop doing it when i need to, so there is no point in discussing it is there?

how well do you know your therapist and how comfortable are you with it (the therapist)? that should answer your question. i have the same tendencies, and i have talke about them once, so i do know how it is. i don't know why you cut yourself, just as you do not know why i do the same. it is just done for our own reasons. but it may help you to talk about it at least

Yes , you should definetely get therapy .... what pleasure do you find in harming your flesh ... ? ... i understand sometimes things get really tough and hard to handle. .. but blaming your body doesnt help ... its okay ... talking to someone you love or writing out all your feelings is worth so much more then cutting ... it is very worth discussing ... :) . take it easy .

You have a desire to talk about it, that shows that you want help. As for not being able to do it when you need to, the therapist may be able to help you find another way to deal with whatever it is that makes you want to hurt yourself.

why are you going to a therapist if you don't want to change?
if you're happy with how you are (cutting) so be it.
i suggest you spend your precious time more wisely. find a sport or musical instrument that you love and practice it.
what's your passion?
whats something you like to do that you can do for hours but will feel like minutes(except cutting of course)
