how do i care for qa sew in hair weave?

I have a sew in hair weave with sensationnel brand hair, and it is really nice. the texture is straight, dark color. i wanted to ask the lovely yahoo community the best way to care for this hair so that it wont be all matted and shedding. the quality is great, but i know aside from the bi-weekly wash by my beautician, there must be something I can do or put into it to keep it looking neat and good for at least a month and a half....

This will sound funny but wrap the hair as u would ur own. It'll hold and last longer and there won't be any snags therefore reducing shedding.

Actually keep as much out of it as you can, an occassional hair spray is fine. Comb or brush it often.
