Why do most guys judge based on our looks?
I understand that it is the first factor that a guy sees and is attracted to, but why cant girls like me, do not get at least one chance to prove that we might not have a perfect skin, but that does not mean we don’t have a heart. And that beauty is not skin deep! This question is mostly for guys, if I could get their opinion on why do they judge girls like me so harshly, just because we are not perfect to look at! We are good friend materials but not even considered as a potential date. I am not stereotyping anyone just asking for an opinion! You might say I have low self-esteem but this is reality, so please don’t judge.

You may be a bit lonely, man-wise, until you're 20 years old or so. But once guys actually have sexual experience, they realize that a woman's sexual desirability is affected by many things other than her skin-deep appearance.
From then on the problem will be much lessened.

i am a guy that grew up with 7 girls and 0 guys living around me and i did tons of sports in school. the main problem most guys have is that they think w/ there ***** but not all guys r like that. i dont date a girl based on looks because i know girls that r really hot but r a pain because everything has to be about them or they r spoiled or they r not the smartest if u know what i mean. i look for a girl that i get along w/, that is fun to be w/, and that i can hangout w/. If u r in high school right now im sorry but most of the guy will be just interseted in the girls that r hot and that put out. but as guys get older they will realize that looks arent everything and they will started dating the girls that they may have over look in the past. college is most of the time when guys start to realize that. for the low self-esteem dont worry what other people think be who u want to be and be happy. the people who will put u down r the people that have to put others down because it makes them feel alittle better about there life but one day they will have nothing and i hope u have everything u need

We judge men based on looks too. It's human nature. To get past the looks part..personality takes a certain kind of guy. Most guys are really superficial jerks who just want to get laid! It's the truth. Is there anyway you can cover those scars with makeup? Confidence is a big factor, too. You have to have confidence to attract a guy. Maybe, a good way is to try a blind date or online dating where people don't judge you based on just your looks. Emailing and getting to know someone based on personality is more prevalent in these types of dating sites. So, try that and don't give up.

Well, i am not a guy. But i do know that guys do typically make a first judgement call based on appearance, unfortunately. There are guys out there that do value the inner person more than an outward appearance. They are so hard to find though. i know i will not always look the way i do...i am not scarred badly (i do have one on my nose though) but i can see the wrinkles coming and i do hope that my man can see past that when they are deeper. i used to wish that i could form a relationship with a guy who could not see me...so i would know that it was not based on appearance. i tried phone date lines, but without success. There are certain people who absolutely will not judge you by your appearance, and those are blind people. i hope you don't consider it an insult for me to suggest that you try dating someone who is blind. i have know so many wonderful blind folks...and you know they are not making judgements about your outward appearance. Meanwhile, hang in there! You sound like a strong and determined person. i wish you the very best.

It's not always about looks, but physical attraction is important. I'm going to go ahead and assume the guys you mentioned liking appealed to you physically, right? I'm also going to assume you're young and dealing with immature boys. Boys only like or want to date girls they think they're friends think are hot, it's some kind of weird competition, ego thing. Anyway, don't worry about it so much, there's someone out there who will truly love you the way you are, you may not find him right away, but he's out there.

Vitamin E oil or cream can be applied to the skin in the affected areas, every day .The cream should be applied overnight.
