yes.

be happy knowing that lent is a noncanon, manmade commandment and has no bearing on your "eternal life" or whatever it is you think you have.

Hell is hardly an appropriate penance for merely eating a ham sandwich on Ash Wednesday, especially since you forgot.

Look, God judges us according to our capacities. If you forgot, then you didn't mean to break a rule, right? It slipped your mind. Had you remembered, you wouldn't have done it.

But let me ask you... is Lent in the Bible? It doesn't say anywhere that we have to fast or make any kind of Lenten sacrifice. In fact, the word "Lent" isn't present in the Bible anywhere. So don't sweat it.

ash Wednesday is not biblical . there is no such as ash Wednesday in the bible. that is only a wrong doctrine from your false Holy father in Earth who is the pope. The true Holy Father is in Heaven watching over us

No.

Eating meat on accident on a day of abstinence is not a mortal sin.

Try to remember not to eat meat on the Lenten Fridays.

With love in Christ.

NO!!!!

You just stated it was an accident you broke your fast.

Sinning is doing something on purpose - knowingly.

Going to hell is a totally different subject. Major actions against your family and community - horrible things you are not going to do, is what people think of are actions to send people to hell.
You should talk and listen to your parents, they will explain in more detail.

Just say an "Our Father" and "Hail Mary"

People go to hell for mortal sins. Eating meat on days of fasting is now a venial sin.

eating ham won't be the reason for going to hell, and missing out on getting ashes smashed on your head won't be the reason.

The reason people go to hell is they have NOT truly trusted in Jesus Christ ALONE for salvation from sin.

Ask Jesus to come into your heart today and be redeemed from your sins.

You might for your obviously mocking attitude of Catholicism... But a person who honestly forgets and does the things you say would not be guilty of a Mortal Sin.

Of course not. An honest mistake is just that and God certainly knows that. Make up for it in another way of your choosing.

No, it was an accident. I would mention it at your next confession but just as an oversight. We are human and the Lord knows us very well. He knows we forget.

Naw, just go to confession. Sounds like a three our father and three hail mary sin to me, but I could be off a bit.
