It really depends on your age and judgement. You need to feel comfortable with yourself as a person/adult. You need to feel safe with that person. If you have any doubts about him, then I'd say no. You want to be safe not only with a condom but.. for your personal safety as well. You should be able to judge a persons character and the only way you can do this is by age with life's personal experiences. If you are mature, responsible, safe, and sure... then go for it. Sometimes the no strings attached are a really good thing and can be very fun and exciting. Have fun and be safe!

I dont know why people are so freaked out and judgemental about ONS's. If the people involved are consenting adults, its safe and there is no violence then why the hell not. I intended on having a one night stand with a guy a few years back but in the end he just kept coming back (I didnt turn him away mind you) - it turned into a relationship on a sexual basis only, with NO committment, which was alot of fun. Prior to this I had been in a relationship for 5 years so yeah it was great! I would consider a ONS again if the time was right and it felt ok.

No. They are fun at the time, but it all depends on you. How would you feel about it afterwards and is it really worth it? I don't suggest a one night stand with anyone that you have feelings for. If it's some hot guy that you will never see or think about then maybe it's ok. It just depends on what's best for you. Always use protection and be on the pill if you are going to have seX. Especially, if you don't know the person. Be safe..you don't want to catch a disease. Sometimes, it's just best left to fatasize about those things because it's risky to have a one night stand. I'd rather be in a relationship or dating scenario to tell you the truth. One night stands are not really what it's cracked up to be.

not really. u never no if they have a disease, even a condom wont protect u against an std, u dont no if they r married despite what they tell u and even if u use a condom u could still get pregnant. if u just want to have sex then find a friend that wants the same thing. that would be the best way. if ur both single. if its a friend then u will no if they r taken, have a disease or what ever but theres still the chance of getting pregnant.

Geez, all these people sound paranoid. How is having protected sex with someone you barely know any different than having it with someone you're in a relationship with? You could meet a guy, date him for months, finally have sex with him and still end up with an STD or get pregnant if the condom breaks. Do what feels right, don't let anyone else's opinion dictate your life. If you want to have sex with a stranger, go for it, if it's too big of a "risk" for you, don't do it. It's your life and your decision, just make sure it's an informed decision and a responsible decision whichever way you go

Condoms does not protect against some STDs (sexually transmitted diseases). Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, and Herpes for example. They can also break at a bad moment; and oral sex is dangerous even if he doesn't finish there. Some other nasty stuff can be caught by kissing the wrong person too. Even if a guy look like superman he can be infected with HIV(AIDS), and infected guys usually lie about their health in other to get laid. Read about the girls that got infected by "Hot guys" they thought to be healthy just because they were hot.
Besides, getting pregnant from a loser, getting a deadly virus and other nasty bugs, you got to be careful about dangerous psychos (read about Ted Bundy; a HOT handsome gorgeous guy, law student, well spoken, intelligent, and the murderer of over 50 girls).

That depends on if u ever wanna find true love. Whenever a person starts having one night stands it does a few things to them. You will lose a part of your heart and lose your ability to love your soulmate. Sex is supposed to be beautiful, wonderful, caring and kind. Not an act of instinctivess between people that barely know each other. If you wanna destroy or hurt your chances of finding your soulmate in the future then go for it.Std's are only one proglem here.

I would say no. Condoms are not 100% safe, as well as you do not know your partner, besides STDs you might be putting yourself at even a higher risk.

Not a good idea. People who have had one night stands usually regret them later, and I've never heard anyone brag about how great they are. Better to try for a relationship with a nice guy.

they can be and condoms have a VERY VERY low failure rate --- you should be more worried about physical safety --- you never know who you are talking to --- well actually while i have had one one night stand the lady and i had met and talked so she did feel (and was) perfectly safe
