the dr said yesterday it was a virus but the fever is back again today she is taking kids moltron for the fever tomarrow will be 6 days with a fever coming and going can anyone tell me why and what to do now

My well-trusted pediatrician always told me to alternate Tylenol and Motrin for a fever that wouldn't quit. Keep her in fluids, as fever can dehydrate a child quickly. You could also give her a tepid bath (NOT cold) a couple of times a day, but be sure not to let her catch a chill from windows or doors. You could put a humidifier in her room to help ease the cough. If she is not feeling any better at all in a day or two, I'd say take her to the hospital or get a second opinion. If her fever reaches 105 F you need to get her to an ER right away, as that's too high and she will need medical attention.

Make sure she does not have a infection. This can happen with a virus though. Also it's this time of year. I feel feverish when I have allergies, so maybe it's that.
