this is going to be hard for u,because u have to tell him, what i would do is make sure this guy really likes u before u tell him anything if u know that he wants to be with u then, tell him that u really like him but there is something that u need to talk to him about and that it is personal, explain what happened to u and let him no that u do have herpes,if he cant understand that u can still make love with each other but u have to be very safe, then heis not worth it,it doesn't change who u are honey,Ur still the same person and dont feel bad that u have it,things happen in life and Ur
going to make it!!!

I have a friend who has herpes, She has just always been up front about it whenever she felt a strong attraction for the other person. If the other person feels just as strong about you then I believe they will respect your honesty and be okay with it, If that person does not then they are not worth your time or effort,

definitely before you have sex. i would say now, because you are starting to get comfortable in your relationship and now you need to lay your cards on the table. and maybe he won't run away like a loser since you guys really have something going on.

you should wait until he needs to know. but all the while you should protect him from it. (ie.. protected sex) something like that is need-to-know based i think. theres no sense in spilling the beans untill you know that your relationship is something substantial

When you feel secure & comfortable. Whatever you do please tell this person before any sexual involvement, it's only fair to them. I say the sooner the better.
